Janhvi Kapoor reveals the zip of her gown was ripped twice minutes before her Filmfare performance!
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor looked breathtakingly beautiful in a gown at the star-studded Filmfare Awards night on Thursday. She gave an outstanding performance on the stage with the crowd cheering for her. But do you know minutes before her dance performance, the zip of her gown ripped twice? Yes, you read that right! The Dhadak actress revealed the same in her latest Instagram post and shared a couple of her photos getting her dress stitched.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Janhvi shared her photos and wrote, “When the zip of your gown rips 5 minutes before the red carpet, and 12 minutes before you have to perform on stage.” In one of the pictures, she was seen sitting inside the car with a tailor stitching the hemline of her gown at the back. In another picture, the Roohi star was seen sitting on the side steps of the Filmfare stage before her on-stage performance. At the Filmfare Awards, Janhvi was nominated in the Best Actor (Female) category for her performance in Mili. Alia Bhatt won the award for her performance in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Meanwhile, Janhvi will next be seen in the upcoming film Mr and Mrs Mahi where she plays the role of a cricketer. The actress will be seen opposite Rajkummar Rao. Apart from this, Kapoor also has Nitesh Tiwari's directorial ‘Bawaal’ with Varun Dhawan in the pipeline.
Janhvi is also making her Telugu debut with the forthcoming film tentatively titled NTR 30 opposite Jr NTR. The project will be helmed by Janatha Garage.
